AI is quickly becoming a real part of enterprise software.

Not just chatbots. Not just API calls. Real systems that can reason through tasks, use tools, follow workflows, and hand decisions back to humans when it matters.

In this course, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of Azure's most powerful AI tool: Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Studio).

You’ll start with the core ideas behind agents: what makes them different from traditional automation, how they communicate, and how they connect to business systems. Then you’ll set up a complete development environment with Azure AI, the CLI, VS Code, the AI Toolkit, and Python.

From there, you’ll build toward something practical: a human-in-the-loop content pipeline where agents generate and refine work while approval steps, conditions, and regeneration loops keep the process controlled.

By the end, you’ll understand what it actually means to build AI agent workflows for production-style environments.
